We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion and Macquarie Education Tours were OUTSTANDING. Everything was organised and we did not need to worry.
Queensland offers a range of excursion destinations.
Choose from diverse environments and activities to suit different age groups and subjects.
Gold Coast
Do you want to create a special excursion memory for senior High School students, but you don’t want to take them to the snow? An increasingly popular excursion destination, the Gold Coast offers many options for curriculum-based school excursions with an emphasis on FUN!
What others say:
“We had an excellent time away. Students (Year 11 x 54) and teachers were surprised by how fast the time went, especially the drive up (to the Gold Coast) and back. I believe this was the better choice when compared to Year 11 typically going to the snow.”
“This was our school’s first Senior Geography Camp to the Gold Coast and it was a fantastic success. Annette & the staff at Macquarie Educational Tours were tremendous in their correspondence & organisation. Greg, our driver was a wonderful driver & top bloke. We would certainly run this trip again. The Gold Coast was a top location for studying Physical & Human elements of the Stage 6 Geography course.”
“Our camp was a fantastic success! Staff & students had a wonderful time exploring the Gold Coast! Many thanks.”
Each of the Theme Parks offers a range of Educational Programs for you to achieve required curriculum outcomes. Programs choices exist across a range of parks for the following topics: Business and Tourism, Hospitality, Marine Studies, Biology, Performing Arts, Maths & Physics.
In addition, we have sourced some options for Crossroads programs, PD/H/PE, Geography (urban + ecosystems at risk – rainforests), as well as jet boating, surfing lessons, and more. You can also include a day tour to the Sunshine Coast visiting Australia Zoo, the Ginger Factory and Underwater World.
While there is endless ‘holiday style’ accommodation on the Gold Coast, suitable school group accommodation options are limited and book out very quickly so this excursion needs to be booked well in advance.
