For schools travelling with Macquarie Educational Tours we offer a group airfare booking and payment management service.
Once your excursion dates are booked and confirmed with Macquarie Educational Tours, we’re then able to obtain accurate quotes for flights to match your booked excursion dates.
Things to note:
- Group airfare quotes are only applicable for the nominated flight on the nominated days and then the quote lapses after approx 7 days if no deposit is paid. Because the airfare deposits are non refundable, the quote for the ground content must be accepted by the school and the accommodation bookings confirmed by each motel before we proceed with airfare quotes & bookings to ensure that the airfare deposits are not at risk.
- Special group conditions apply for school flight bookings. These vary between carriers, but include low (non-refundable) deposits rather than full payment at time of booking, final payment approx 1 month prior to travel, name changes without penalty up to approx 7 days prior to travel etc. Note – All quotes are subject to the relevant Airline’s terms and conditions, which will be provided along with applicable quote/s.
- By flying into Sydney / out of Canberra you may find that cheaper flights are available, as opposed to flying into / out of Canberra. This makes no difference to coach price and can add Sydney sightseeing opportunities for your itinerary.
- All Quoted Fares are subject to seat availability at time of booking
- Airfare Quotes are generally valid for 7-10 days from the Date of Quote.
- A non-refundable per person deposit will be required WITHIN 7 DAYS of booking airfares. Deposit amounts vary between different airlines – generally $30 - $60 per flight.
- As with all airlines, quoted airfares are subject to change until full payment is made.
